Contracts Administrator
The Contracts Administrator will provide cradle-to-grave contract administration; correspond with our clients’ contracting officers/specialists to resolve contractual matters; support current contract budgeting; and work with proposal teams in the planning and execution of new business cost proposals, cost narratives, and pricing strategies.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years experience in the Government contracting arena, preferably civilian agencies (HHS, DOJ, etc.); proficiency in Microsoft Excel; demonstrated knowledge of the FAR; and experience with multiple contract types, performance-based contracting, GSA, and professional services contracts. A bachelor’s degree and/or a CPCM are preferred.
Publications Production Coordinator
The Publications Production Coordinator will log and track all documents by coordinating with the writers, editors, graphic designers, and Web team; check in with staff daily and provide project updates; enter new projects into the publications tracking system; update the status of projects; and generate reports.
Qualified candidates are required to have a bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 3 years of project logging and tracking experience, exceptional communication and organizational skills, experience using document tracking software like Clients & Profits, and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Program Manager
The Program Manager will manage the planning and implementation of multiple scientific workgroups, coordinate updates for websites, and coordinate the design and development of exhibit and outreach materials. He/she will organize and manage several working groups; coordinate and participate in regular conference calls and/or Adobe Webcasts; develop agendas for calls and in-person meetings; review and edit conference call and meeting minutes; and assist in the preparation of scientific protocols, guidelines, and other materials. Responsibilities will involve the design, organization, and management of a password-protected website. In addition, the Program Manager will conduct careful research and analysis to update a Crisis Communication Plan.
Qualified candidates must have strong organizational skills, and written and oral communication skills. This position requires a bachelor’s degree and experience in Government health program management. An advanced degree is desirable, and familiarly with Outlook and Web conferencing tools is a plus.
Information Specialist
The Information Specialist will respond to requests for information and materials received by telephone, mail, e-mail, fax, Web, and other communication channels. He/she will search and use Web content, approved protocols, scripts, and standard responses to prepare written and verbal responses; enter request and contact data into appropriate inquiry tracking and ordering databases; and maintain and update resource database records and mailing lists. This position is also responsible for assisting with report preparation and promoting services at conferences and meetings.
Qualified candidates are required to have a bachelor’s degree with 1 year of experience in a clearinghouse or customer service setting; excellent oral and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and varying work schedules; customer service experience, preferably in a health-related field; and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Internet searching. Proficiency in written and oral Spanish is desirable.
Graphic Designer
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating original designs for print, Web, and exhibits; providing layout for booklets and fact sheets; and working closely with vendors and printers.
Qualified candidates are required to have a minimum of 5 years of professional design experience; a bachelor’s degree in graphic design; excellent hands-on production skills in InDesign, Quark XPress, Photoshop, and Illustrator on a Macintosh computer; a firm knowledge of master pages and style sheets; a solid understanding of both digital and offset printing processes; and a basic knowledge of Web interface and information architecture design. Experience with Microsoft Office programs on a PC platform is a plus. Applicants must be willing to do mostly layout work with some design work, must be able to multi-task with multiple priorities, and must be able to work both within a team and independently in our studio setting.
Project Director
The Project Director will manage health communication projects for Government clients, especially the National Institutes of Health, handling subjects such as aging, Alzheimer’s Disease, infectious diseases, and allergies. The Project Director will lead efforts for materials development, information fulfillment and referral, and health outreach and marketing.
Qualified candidates are required to have a master’s degree. A minimum of 5 years of related experience is strongly preferred. He/she must have demonstrated client relationship management expertise; experience with managing project staff and budgets; a high level of comfort with technology; and excellent writing skills. Experience with business development and proposal writing is a plus.
Senior Applications Developer
The Senior Applications Developer will possess a strong, hands-on programming background in Web applications development, data architecture, design, implementation, and support of systems. He/she must be comfortable working with clients and internal staff at all levels, translating business and program needs into effective IT solutions.
Qualified candidates are required to have familiarity with HTML, XML, CSS, and Javascript; a minimum of 10 years of experience as an application developer responsible for planning and managing software development projects; a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience developing Web-based, database-driven applications using C#, .NET, ColdFusion, and SQL Server; and a minimum of 5 years of experience developing and maintaining systems as a Government contractor, including in-depth knowledge of Section 508 compliance issues and IT security regulations and requirements.
